Job Description:

  • We seek an experienced and efficient site engineer for our engineering/construction department.
  • As a site engineer, you will monitor diversified aspects of construction project management. This will include planning, coordination and supervision of on-site activities. You will ensure all aspects of the project align with engineering and design specifications, industry standards and construction regulations. You will also foster effective communication by liaising with contractors, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
  • Manage construction works by coordinating and controlling needed manpower and materials.
  • Coordinating site works with Foremen, Sub-contractors, and other related personnel for the implementation of the project.
  • Provide technical support to the project through coordination with co-engineers, architects, and other technical personnel involved.
  • Inspect and assure quality of work done.
  • Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.
  • Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements.
  • Determines project specifications by studying architectural design, client requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies.
  • Preparation of cost estimates.
  • Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
  • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
  • Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
  • Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Other duties assigned.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
  • 1 -2 years of experience as a site engineer, civil engineer or an equivalent role
  • With PRC License is an advantage
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing and supervising construction projects.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office , AutoCAD and other software.
  • Ability to manage multiple construction projects at various stages of their lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and regulations.
  • Competent in assessing, interpreting and presenting survey reports and other critical data for stakeholders and shareholders.
  • Good in project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with effective communication.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Understanding of budgeting and cost control.
  • Willing to work in Malolos City, Bulacan
