About the role

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our growing team at Alabang, Muntinlupa City. As a full-time Accounting Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Record daily financial transactions and ensure all entries are accurate and properly documented
  • Assist in preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements in a timely manner
  • Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, and management reports
  • Monitor and reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant tax regulations
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
  • Perform other administrative and accounting-related duties as assigned

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a similar industry, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with accounting principles, practices, and regulations
