Position Summary

The Site Mechanical Engineer is responsible for overseeing the installation, execution, and quality of mechanical works at the project site. This includes supervision of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, piping, and other mechanical systems to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, monitor, and coordinate all mechanical works at the site.
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and specifications for mechanical systems.
  • Ensure that mechanical works are carried out according to approved design, quality standards, and project schedule.
  • Conduct site inspections and prepare daily progress reports.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Ensure proper implementation of health, safety, and environmental standards during site execution.
  • Support testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems.
  • Assist in resolving technical issues and site-related concerns.
  • Verify materials and equipment delivered on-site are as per approved submittals.
  • Provide technical support to project teams and participate in site meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer (preferred).
  • At least 2–5 years of experience in site supervision of mechanical works (construction, MEP, or related projects).
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical piping systems.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other engineering software.

Work Conditions

  • Based at project site.
  • Extended working hours may be required depending on project schedule.
  • Coordination with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php30,000.00 per month
