About the role

As a Mechanical Engineer at LRP Group Food Services', you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and optimisation of mechanical systems and components that support our food processing operations. In this full-time, on-site role in Quezon City, Metro Manila, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and safety of our manufacturing processes.

What you'll be doing

  1. Designing, developing, and overseeing the installation of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and equipment
  2. Conducting performance evaluations and troubleshooting mechanical issues to identify and resolve problems
  3. Implementing preventive maintenance programs to ensure the optimal functioning of machinery and equipment
  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  5. Adhering to all relevant safety and environmental regulations
  6. Preparing reports and documentation to track project progress and performance

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  2. At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
  3. Proficient in the use of CAD software and other engineering design tools
  4. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams
  6. Familiarity with relevant safety and environmental regulations
  7. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
