Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

Customer Support – Order Fulfillment

Work with customers to develop a comprehensive understanding of customer needs and kit application requirements:

1. Gather customer technical information, specifications and arrange for collaterals transfer necessary for kit design

2. Review customer information requirements and collaterals necessary to attain complete information package necessary for kit design

3. Convert this body of information into specifications for kit design and upload it to kit engineering for design project loading

4. Work with Sales & Engineering to define comprehensive, accurate quotation necessary to drive subsequent sales order configuration

5. Review customer configuration requirements and provide pricing to Sales Support for quotation.

6. Report regularly and on demand about the status of the ongoing activities (e.g., monthly reports, trip reports, project reports, etc.).

7. Coordinate and cooperate with Sales and Marketing to support business of system sales.

8. Cooperate and communicate with the Applications Team worldwide to meet goals, objectives and functions as defined above.

9. Participate in customer meetings and foster all levels of communication with customers.

10. Focus on existing business processes and their appropriate usage as well on continued improvement of existing processes

  • Perform work safely and in accordance with the EHS Policy, Procedures and provisions of the Standards, and to report any work hazard (unsafe conditions or unsafe practices) that may be discover in the workplace and to make suggestion for correction or removal of the potential hazards.
  • Practice the 5S and waste segregation program, and to support the activities on waste reduction, storm drain management, water and energy consumption reduction.

Qualifications:

  • Education: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering preferred, other engineering discipline, or closely related technical field of study will be considered.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years' experience in mechanical design or 5 years' experience supporting test handlers and device kits.
  • Skills/Technical Requirements: Knowledge of semiconductor packages and back-end test production operations. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to develop presentations to provide direction for design team, work tracking spreadsheets, email communication with kit organization and represent in customer or internal meetings. Must have strong process ownership and project management skills to work effectively with customers, sales and engineering in a team environment. Must be able to effectively translate customer requirements to the kit organization and effectively handle customer inquiries in a professional and competent manner. Proficiency with SolidWorks/AutoCAD (latest release), Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) is required.
