What You'll Do

The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality or short-term rental operations, be highly proficient in Excel, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of revenue data, performing reconciliations, and analyzing trends to identify discrepancies, while supporting the company's growth across multiple regions.

Audit & Verification

• Conduct daily audits of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Verify revenue streams, including room bookings, ancillary services, and third-party OTA commissions.
• Follow up on chargebacks, refunds, and disputes to ensure timely resolution.

Revenue Analysis & Reconciliation

• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all payments are accurately recorded.
• Analyze large datasets to detect discrepancies in sales, rates, or commissions.
• Work with the team to identify patterns and suggest solutions for revenue discrepancies.

Systems & Reporting

• Utilize Property Management Systems (PMS) and other hospitality tools to track and reconcile financial data.
• Prepare accurate monthly and ad-hoc financial reports for management.
• Highlight key insights, trends, and areas for improvement.

Collaboration & Communication

• Communicate effectively with internal teams across different regions and time zones.
• Collaborate with operations, IT, and customer service teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
• Provide guidance and support to junior auditors or colleagues when needed.

Process Improvement & Compliance

• Identify opportunities for process improvement within revenue and audit procedures.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and relevant financial regulations.

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of experience in income auditing, accounting, or revenue management, preferably within hospitality or short-term rentals.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis).
• Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) and OTA commission structures is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
• Experience leading or mentoring a team is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
