About the Role

Arvin International Marketing Inc. is looking for an experienced Purchasing Team Leader to drive and continuously improve our purchasing and sourcing operations. In this role, you will lead a team of purchasing professionals and ensure the timely, cost-effective acquisition of office supplies, materials, goods, and services that support our day-to-day operations and long-term business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, oversee, and execute company-wide procurement activities, including setting purchasing targets and timelines
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of purchasing associates to deliver high-quality procurement services
  • Build, manage, and strengthen supplier and vendor relationships while monitoring supplier performance
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve purchasing policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Analyze market trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and negotiate competitive pricing and terms
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and align procurement strategies
  • Track, analyze, and report key procurement metrics; recommend and implement improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal controls

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement leadership role (experience in Administration & Office Support is an advantage)
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing procurement teams
  • Strong negotiation, sourcing, and vendor management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on cost optimization and process improvement
  • Proficiency in procurement systems, data analysis tools, and related technologies
  • Solid understanding of industry regulations, standards, and procurement best practices
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments
