Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all technical aspects of renewable energy projects, including design, engineering review, and technical due diligence
  • Review and approve system designs, layouts, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure technical compliance and quality standards
  • Support project development activities such as site assessments, feasibility studies, and technical evaluations
  • Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to approved designs, timelines, and safety standards
  • Provide technical support during commissioning, testing, and handover to operations teams
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, grid codes, and international standards
  • Optimize system performance, efficiency, and long-term reliability
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Professional engineering license or relevant certifications are an advantage
  • Minimum 710 years of experience in renewable energy projects (solar, wind, energy storage, or hybrid systems)
  • Experience managing utility-scale and/or commercial & industrial (C&I) renewable energy projects
  • Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies, system design, and industry standards
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Risk assessment and mitigation
  • Proven experience in technical management, engineering leadership, or project technical oversight
  • Proficient in engineering and simulation tools relevant to renewable energy systems.
