JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Manage and develop assigned category (Supermarket-Fresh items such as fruits & vegetables, seafoods, eggs & sugar, frozen seafoods, dairy, RTE, fresh market, etc.)

  2. Manage product assortment and portfolio under assigned category

  3. Frontliner in initial buying and evaluate products introduced by vendors/suppliers

  4. Handle business building negotiations; Vendor management & collaboration

  5. Source new vendors and conduct market matching

  6. Source new products and innovate

  7. Create programs to build sales and develop category

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management, Marketing, Agriculture, Agribusiness or any related course

  2. With at least five (5) years relevant work experience in buying, merchandising, or purchasing in food, retail, FMCG or other related industries

  3. With excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills
