DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Uses initiative in identifying and soliciting prospects.
  • Makes personal contacts with existing and prospective customers as scheduled. Uses telephone or mail solicitation daily to help identify prospects and contact customers.
  • Explains products and services to existing and potential customers, using clear, non-technical language.
  • Develops insurance plans, including plans for single policy and those for comprehensive coverage.
  • Follows-up on sales, providing any necessary service to existing customers and anticipating possible needs for additional coverage.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of any four-year course.
  • Preferably with working experience in a non-life insurance company.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferably familiar with word processing and spreadsheet
  • Experience with the internet, web browsing and on-line services is preferred.
