Job Summary:

We are seeking an AI Engineer with a strong focus on designing, developing, and deploying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) solutions within Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments. The ideal candidate will drive innovation by integrating advanced AI and ML capabilities into our engineering software products, leveraging the full suite of AWS services to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient solutions for our clients in the electrical power systems industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI and ML models and solutions using AWS services such as SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, Step Functions, and related tools.
  • Build, train, and operationalize machine learning models for applications including predictive analytics, optimization, and intelligent automation within electrical power systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including software engineers, data scientists, and product managers—to align AI solutions with business objectives and user needs.
  • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines using AWS Glue, Kinesis, and S3 for real-time and batch data processing and integration.
  • Implement best practices for MLOps, including model monitoring, versioning, scaling, and automation of AI deployments in production environments.
  • Conduct advanced data analysis and visualization, integrating results into business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Superset, Tableau, and Excel.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and data privacy by leveraging AWS Identity and Access Management and adhering to relevant regulations.
  • Stay current with advancements in AI and ML, AWS services, and industry trends, and proactively recommend innovative solutions to enhance our product offerings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and deploying AI and ML solutions on AWS, including hands-on use of SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, and associated AWS AI and ML services.
  • Proficiency in Python for AI and ML development; experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch is highly desirable.
  • Strong background in business data analytics and a passion for leveraging AI to generate actionable insights.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, and experience integrating them with AI and ML models.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI, Superset, Tableau, Excel).
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) for deploying AI applications in cloud environments.
  • Understanding of AI security and privacy best practices, especially within AWS.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer – Associate or similar AWS AI and ML certification.
  • Experience with automation and orchestration tools such as AWS Step Functions and EventBridge.
  • Knowledge of generative AI, prompt engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns using AWS Bedrock.
  • Experience building domain-specific AI assistants or chatbots with AWS services such as Amazon Lex and Kendra.
