Job DescriptionElevate your career with JPMorgan Chase, a top financial firm, valuing innovation, creativity, and excellence.As a Trade Lifecycle Associate I within Client Instruction Capture (CIC) and Settlements, you are responsible for the operational management and control of the daily workflow and also work with Trades Processing and Fails Management Teams.Job ResponsibilitiesManage the workflow through the life cycle of Custody TradesProcess and validate trades, in accordance with the established work practices and procedures in CIC TradesComplete knowledge of trade lifecycle and role of custodian bank.Process FX Trades, knowledge of SWIFT MT54X message along with global market nuances is a must.Monitor and Manage trade capture, fails management and settlement activities. Address settlement discrepancies/issues and leverage escalation channels promptlyRespond to queries relating to trade status and market practiceMaximize team capacity through effective resource planning and ensure team structure is robust through effective training and succession planningProvide effective communications to the department, ensuring staff are aware of strategic and regulatory changes in the organizationReview content and presentation of Standard Operating Procedures, in line with new policies and ongoing risk management activitiesContribute to the strategic development of Custody productsRequired Qualifications, Capabilities And SkillsMinimum of 4 years in Financial Services industry in custody & fund services, markets.Possess understanding of Treasury v/s Agent (Off Book currency) FX'sStrong Risk and Control Awareness: Ability to effectively prioritize workloads and work to critical deadlinesExcellent customer service skills and able to handle difficult situations internally and externallyOperational subject matter expertise in Reconciliation, Settlements, Fails Management, Trade Support, Risk and Control, and CustodyStrong ability to learn ongoing stream of new markets, products, and processesStrong risk and control awareness, including the ability to effectively prioritize workloads and work to critical deadlinesConfident communicator in all mediums with both internal and external clientsStrategic thinker, ability to review and implement process improvementsProficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookFlexibility working on APAC and late APAC shift (as early as 6am to 11am start of shift)Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And SkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent, preferredGlobal Custody or Local Custody backgroundExperience in driving projects and initiativesFamiliarity with swift messages specifically MT54 seriesCapable of working under pressure and to cope with changing volumes, whilst maintaining accuracy and quality.TenureInternal Application Eligibility RequirementsMust meet minimum employment tenure requirement.
