About the role

Generali Life Assurance Philippines, Inc. is seeking a talented Claims Specialist to join our dynamic team in Makati City, Metro Manila. As a Claims Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective claims processing, contributing to the overall success of our insurance business. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Reviewing and assessing insurance claims to ensure accurate and timely processing
  2. Liaising with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and documentation
  3. Investigating and verifying the validity of claims in accordance with company policies and industry regulations
  4. Collaborating with the underwriting and actuarial teams to ensure consistent and fair claims decisions
  5. Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to claims
  6. Identifying and addressing any discrepancies or potential fraud in the claims process
  7. Providing excellent customer service and support to policyholders throughout the claims journey
  8. Participating in the continuous improvement of claims processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as insurance, finance, or business administration, or any business course.
  2. Minimum 1 year of experience in insurance claims processing or a related role
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
  5. Familiarity with insurance industry regulations and claims processing best practices
  6. Proficiency in using relevant claims management software and technology
  7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
  8. Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest ethical standards
