Repair and Maintenance Technician

I. JOB SUMMARY:

✓ Responsible for support to other Business Unit / Department & Companies.

✓ Responsible for some administrative / office works.

II. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

✓ Bachelor's Degree Graduate or any related Course

✓ With commensurate work experience as an Electronic Technician

✓ Knowledge and familiarity with Bill & Coin Counters is an advantage

✓ Knowledge and skills in troubleshooting and repair of electronic devices and equipment

✓ Willing to travel to different SM Branches for the scheduled Preventive Maintenance and Repair of non-IT items / devices in the branch.

III. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / TASKS:

✓ Receiving and recording of defective non-IT items such as but not limited to bill & coin counters, fabric steamers, bar code printers, two-way radios, LFDs, etc. from different The SM Store and Retail Affiliates branches.

✓ Troubleshoot, evaluate and conduct repairs for all defective items with available spare parts and those that are not under waranty.

✓ Provide necessary support to immediate superior in conducting in-house repairs of non-IT equipment coming from different business Units (BUs).

✓ Prepare all necessary standard documents for all repaired items for branch return and delivery as soon as items are already available.

✓ Coordinate for Truck request and ensure that the items to be return or deliver are properly measured for proper space allocation in the delivery truck/s capacity.

✓ Prepare all necessary documentation for all items to be pick-up by the accredited suppliers.

✓ Support in the strict implementation of all standard repair services in accordance with the existing company policies, procedures and guidelines.

✓ Maintain an orderly and conducive working environment at all times.

✓ Other functions / tasks that the department may require, as necessary.

✓ Willing to be assigned in SM Quiapo or SM Head Office in MOA, Pasay.
