Job Brief


• Assists in the review and reformulation of the school's philosophy, vision, mission and objectives;


• Promotes the building of an educational community with the spirit of Nazareth, especially by serving as role model to both teachers and students;


• Achieves curriculum objectives in the Learning Competencies as set forth by the Department of Education and SSJ Center of Education;


• Monitors students' academic progress and personal growth toward stated objectives of instruction;


• Systematically measures student performance by a variety of assessment tools;


• Completes paperwork promptly and accurately; verifies and correctly enters data;


• Encodes grades from the class record and ensures the accuracy of each entry and submits the same to the Academic Coordinator on time;


• Accompanies their respective students' faith-life journey especially during retreats or recollections; and


• Ensures the safety of students under his/her direct supervision at all times.

Basic Requirements


• Holder of Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education (BSED)


• LET passer


• Must have a thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school's policies and procedures


• Must have excellent communicability and interpersonal skills


• Must have a strong moral values and discipline


• Computer skilled and can teach using interactive visual aids
