JOB DESCRIPTION

The UI/UX Design Officer is responsible for designing intuitive, user-centered digital experiences for web and mobile applications. The role focuses on translating business requirements and user needs into effective interface designs, user flows, and prototypes while collaborating closely with product, IT, and business stakeholders.

This position requires a strong balance of creative design execution, UX methodology, and cross-functional collaboration, with accountability for delivering high-quality end-to-end UI/UX outputs aligned with company standards and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design user-centered UI/UX solutions for web platforms, mobile applications, dashboards, and internal systems
  • Translate business requirements, functional specs, and user insights into:
  • User journeys and flows
  • Wireframes (low- and high-fidelity)
  • Interactive prototypes and UI mockups
  • Conduct UX research activities such as usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and user feedback analysis
  • Develop and maintain design systems, UI standards, and style guides to ensure visual and interaction consistency
  • Collaborate closely with:
  • Product owners and business users
  • Developers and IT teams
  • QA and project stakeholders throughout the design lifecycle
  • Present design concepts and rationale clearly to stakeholders and incorporate feedback iteratively
  • Ensure designs are responsive, accessible, and scalable across platforms and devices
  • Support implementation by working with developers during handoff and development phases
  • Stay updated on UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices, and recommend improvements to processes and outputs
  • May provide design guidance or mentoring to junior designers when needed (non-managerial)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, or related field
  • Formal UX/UI training or certifications are an advantage

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on UI/UX design experience for digital products (web and/or mobile)
  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end UX outputs, from research and wireframing to high-fidelity design and handoff
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile, startup, agency, or corporate environments
  • Exposure to enterprise systems, dashboards, admin tools, or data-driven platforms is an advantage
  • Experience working with international or remote teams is a plus

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in industry-standard UI/UX tools such as:
  • Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Balsamiq
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Strong capability in:
  • Wireframing and prototyping
  • User flows, personas, and information architecture
  • Visual design and interaction design
  • Familiarity with usability analytics or testing tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Hotjar) is an advantage
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and front-end development constraints is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php150, Php180,000.00 per month
