Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic startup as their first marketing hire, where you'll wear multiple hats and have direct impact on the company's growth trajectory. You'll work closely with leadership to drive marketing initiatives, create compelling visual content, and help scale operations across multiple international markets. This role offers the perfect blend of creative design work, strategic marketing thinking, and operational growth in a fast-paced environment where your contributions will directly influence the company's success. As the business expands, you'll have the opportunity to grow into a leadership role, training and managing additional team members while helping establish marketing processes across different geographic regions.

Responsibilities
  • Design eye-catching graphics and visual content for marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Develop and execute content creation strategies to engage diverse ethnic grocery communities
  • Create professional pitch deck presentations and business documentation for stakeholder meetings
  • Support lead generation initiatives and implement creative marketing strategies
  • Collaborate with the existing internal marketing team to amplify campaign effectiveness
  • Manage SEO optimization efforts to improve online visibility and customer acquisition
  • Handle vendor onboarding processes and data entry tasks to support business operations
  • Think strategically about marketing opportunities and provide innovative solutions
  • Learn and master the company's bespoke SaaS software system to provide customer support
  • Eventually mentor and train new team members as the company scales internationally
Requirements
  • Proven graphic design skills with a strong portfolio showcasing creative capabilities
  • Digital marketing experience with solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices
  • Content creation expertise across various marketing channels and platforms
  • Strategic thinking ability with talent for developing creative, out-of-the-box solutions
  • Experience with lead generation strategies and marketing campaign development
  • Proficiency in creating professional presentations and business documentation
  • Strong administrative skills for data entry and process management tasks
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with existing team members
  • Self-directed work style with ability to take initiative and execute tasks independently
  • Adaptability to learn new SaaS software systems and provide customer support
