What You'll Do
As a Part-Time Marketing Specialist, you'll help shape and execute marketing initiatives across digital platforms. You'll focus on creating engaging campaigns and content that boost visibility, build brand presence, and drive audience engagement. From SEO optimization and social media campaigns to email marketing and content creation, your work will play a vital role in strengthening our outreach and growth.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor SEO strategies to improve search rankings and online visibility.
• Manage and create engaging social media campaigns across multiple platforms.
• Design compelling visual content using Canva or Figma for social posts, ads, and marketing collateral.
• Develop and distribute email marketing campaigns that nurture leads and engage clients.
• Write and edit blog posts, articles, and website content optimized for SEO.
• Support video and short-form content creation (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) to enhance audience reach.
• Track performance metrics, analyze results, and recommend improvements for ongoing campaigns.
• Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices.

This role follows a talent pooling approach . Selected candidates will become part of Sozoroad's talent pool and may be deployed to support Sozoroad directly or placed with one of our future client companies depending on project needs.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is not required, but preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Adaptability to work within Eastern Standard Time (EST) for efficient collaboration, if you were to support Sozoroad directly.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to team needs, if you were to be deployed elsewhere.
• Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced role.
• Proven experience in digital marketing (SEO, social media, content, or related areas).
• Strong copywriting and content creation skills with attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Canva or Figma for design projects.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Zoho Campaigns, or similar).
• Basic understanding of SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or keyword research tools).
• Experience in blog/article writing with SEO in mind.
• Plus: Skills in video editing for short-form content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts).
