Position Title: Accounting Staff

Location: Veterans Drive Nivel Hills Lahug, Cebu City, Philippines

Company: Auto Studio Philippines Corporation

Primary Responsibilities


• Review, manage, and maintain accounts receivable and payable records with accuracy and up-to-date tracking.


• Generate, issue, and record invoices for sales, parts, services, and vendor payments.


• Contact customers to follow up on outstanding balances and resolve payment issues professionally.


• Process vendor invoices, match them with Purchase Orders and receiving reports, and prepare timely payments.


• Ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions in the accounting system.


• Reconcile daily receipts, payables, and assist with monthly and year-end closings.


• Provide regular reports on receivables status, aging balances, and payables for financial reporting.


• Resolve discrepancies in accounts, payments, and invoices, and assist in collection improvement processes.


• Negotiate payment terms and discounts with customers and vendors when necessary.


• Manage dealership-related expenses, reimbursements, repairs, maintenance, and other specific payables.


• Ensure compliance with Philippine tax laws, financial regulations, and company accounting policies.


• Assist with ad hoc projects and other tasks assigned by top management to support departmental and company goals.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• At least 1 year of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or an accounting role (preferably in the automotive industry).


• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.


• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and vendor/customer management.


• Good verbal and written communication skills for interaction with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
