An Accounting Assistant will support both accounts payable and accounts receivable. This position supports the finance team by processing and verifying supplier invoices related to the construction materials and services. The position also manages accounts payable by scheduling and executing timely payments to vendors and subcontractors.

Key Functions:

Accounts Payable

  • Assist in invoice processing and vendor payment preparations
  • Support 3-way matching and verification of supporting documents.
  • Help maintain AP records and support monthly reporting.
  • Coordinate with project managers and procurement to verify billing and payment details.

Accounts Receivable

  • Prepare and issue billing statements, progress billings, and collection reports.
  • Monitor collections and follow up with clients on outstanding receivables.
  • Reconcile AR accounts and client ledgers.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to verify billing milestones and change orders.
  • Assist in preparing Statement of Accounts (SOA) and sending out invoices in accordance with contract terms.

Qualifications

  • Accounting Graduate
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of accounting principles, especially accounts payable and receivable
  • Experience or familiarity with the construction or fit-out industry is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills for liaising with vendors, clients, and internal teams
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php18,185.83 per month
