We are seeking a Creative Photo & Video Editor to join our team in a full-time, long-term role working US business hours. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with advanced creative and technical skills who can consistently deliver polished, high-quality content.

You will support a variety of projects, including a local charity and a political advertising consultancy, producing content across photo, video, print, and digital media. Working directly with leadership, you will help bring creative ideas to life—from social media posts and campaign materials to promotional videos and event content.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, highly skilled in both design and editing, and able to take initiative to deliver professional results without constant direction.

This is a full-time position that requires working during US business hours.

Job duties and responsibilities include the following:

1. Photo & Video Editing

  • Enhance photos and raw media for use across campaigns.
  • Edit and produce professional-quality videos using Adobe Premiere Pro (and/or equivalent).
  • Incorporate captions, branding, transitions, and creative storytelling elements.
  • Utilize AI tools or stock media to strengthen visuals when needed.

2. Graphic & Print Design

  • Create flyers, postcards, and mailers for charity and political campaigns.
  • Design engaging social media graphics using Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva Pro.
  • Ensure all creative assets meet professional standards for print and digital.

  • 3. Social Media Creative Support
  • Prepare visual content for platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Adapt media to different formats and specs.
  • Suggest creative storytelling approaches for campaigns.

4. Ownership & Initiative

  • Take raw media and independently develop polished creative outputs.
  • Spot and fix errors (e.g., spelling in captions, brand consistency).
  • Contribute fresh ideas and solutions, not just execute instructions.

Qualifications

  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Proven experience in both photo and video editing, as well as print/digital design.
  • Ability to manage projects independently and ensure high-quality results.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to long-term growth with the team.
  • Experience using AI tools for creative enhancement is a plus.
