Linen Aide

DUTIES AND RSPONSIBILITIES

1. Retrieves and transports soiled linen from designated areas on a set schedule.

2. Collects or receives and segregates, counts, and records number of items of soiled linen for laundry, and places items in cart.

3. Sorts, counts and records number of soiled linens.

4. Checks the condition of hospital linens.

5. Sends torn articles to the seamstress for repair.

6. Delivers requisitioned linen to Ancillary areas.

7. Issues linens which are both to be exchanges on a clean-for-soiled basis only.

8. Receives, sorts and double checks conditions of all linen, records all outgoing and incoming from the laundry thoroughly before storing and issuing.

9. Stamps linen items with identifying marks.

10. Examines laundered items to ensure cleanliness.

11. Ensure that the linens are neatly and systematically arranged and stacked.

12. Performs housekeeping related duties necessary to maintain the area in an orderly and professional conditions.

13. Inventories and records linen orders filled for the delivery to ancillary areas.

14. Should know basic tailoring works.

15. Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position.
16. Perform other functions / duties which may be assigned by the immediate superior.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. At least High School Graduate

2. With knowledge in dressmaking.

1. At least six months related experience

2. Good attitude towards patients and co-employees

• San Mateo, Rizal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
