We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Associate to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the team in preparing reports and compliance requirements.

To be successful in this position, you should have in-depth knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles. You will be working under the direct supervision of an Accounting Manager.

Exceptional ability to handle sensitive information is a must for this job position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions (accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries).
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and other financial data.
  • Process invoices, payments, reimbursements, and expense reports.
  • Support payroll preparation and related compliance tasks.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
  • Coordinate with auditors, suppliers, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and company policies.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance (fresh graduates may be considered).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • No need to be a CPA but preferred.
  • Outstanding cash handling skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • A close observation of accuracy.
  • Excellent arithmetic and numerical skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php21, Php25,000.00 per month
