Purchasing Specialist/Buyer

The Buyer/Procurement Specialist will support the procurement team in managing day-to-day purchasing activities, maintaining supplier records, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of purchase orders. This role focuses on sourcing and acquiring general materials, covering both:

• Manufacturing materials such as machinery, equipment, spare parts, consumables, and tools essential for production operations.
• Non-manufacturing materials such as sales and marketing requirements, office supplies, services, and facility-related needs that support overall business functions.

The position contributes to vendor sourcing, quotation gathering, and coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure materials and services are delivered on time, at the right quality, and within budget. It also plays a vital role in managing supplier relationships, driving cost-efficiency, and ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle procurement of both manufacturing and non-manufacturing general materials.
• Source suppliers, gather quotations, and assist in contract negotiations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align procurement with operational and business requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation and supplier records.
• Ensure compliance with procurement guidelines, company standards, and cost management objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain support.
• Familiarity with procurement processes and documentation.
• Experience using ERP or purchasing systems (e.g., SAP).
• Willing to be based either in Ortigas or Novaliches.

Pay: Php35, Php45,000.00 per month
