Our client, a leading international machinery manufacturer with local factory operations in the Philippines, is seeking a high-caliber Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their leadership team. This is a pivotal role responsible for steering the company's financial direction, driving cost-efficiency, and supporting the growth and transformation of their manufacturing operations. The CFO will also oversee critical support functions including HR, IT, and Procurement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning aligned with operational and commercial objectives.
  • Analyze financial performance metrics, identify variances, and provide insights to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Oversee tax compliance and manage coordination with tax authorities, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and timely completion of statutory audits.
  • Monitor financial risks; including currency, procurement exposure, and capital investments, and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Provide strategic oversight of HR, IT, and Procurement, ensuring alignment, efficiency, and business support.
  • Strengthen internal controls, governance standards, and financial discipline across the organisation.
  • Lead cost-efficiency initiatives across manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain functions.
  • Translate corporate strategy into actionable financial plans and performance targets.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in senior finance leadership roles, with strong exposure to manufacturing or industrial operations,
    preferably within machinery, equipment, or other related sectors.
  • Strong financial acumen with proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and strategic business planning.
  • Deep understanding of tax compliance, regulatory reporting, and audit management.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve organisational efficiency, including exposure to initiatives involving process optimisation, business restructuring, or operational realignment.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing cross-functional teams and supporting business functions such as HR, IT, and Procurement.
  • Excellent command of English; proficiency in Filipino is an advantage.
