Senior BI & Data Analyst

Job Description Summary

The Business Intelligence team (BI) is responsible for delivery of all data analytics and governance in support of both GOS service lines and GOS clients. The BI Analytics Lead's responsibilities include data mapping, data assessments and analysis, data governance support, POC dashboard development, user acceptance testing, reporting support, opportunity assessments, tabular model support, workplace trend analysis, benchmarking analysis, and general product support for client BI platform.

About the Role:

  • Support the client and account team to design, build, implement, and support the client's BI platform and global data strategy initiatives.
  • Manage ongoing day-to-day data integration queries regarding the data journey incorporating troubleshooting and configuration changes.
  • Develop day-to-day data integration changes with a focus on following change management and compliance best-practice.
  • Design short term BI solutions to assist with account team reporting needs without impacting the delivery of the long-term roadmap and final solution.
  • Liaise with Client Analytics Platform to ensure dashboard prototype design and build meets business requirements and aligns with the data and tabular model.

About You:

  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, data modeling, or a similar role, with a preference for commercial real estate data exposure.
  • Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and experienced with business analytics or data visualization tools.
  • Skilled in data mapping and modeling, with working knowledge of SQL preferred.
  • Strong analytical mindset with curiosity and creativity to challenge the status quo.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to translate data insights into business value.
