Job Summary

The Restaurant Supervisor plays a key supporting role in ensuring smooth daily operations, excellent customer service, and team productivity. They assist the Restaurant Manager in executing store strategies, maintaining operational standards, managing staff performance, and meeting financial targets. This role is ideal for a motivated individual seeking to grow into a management-level career in the food and service industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise and motivate team members, ensuring effective communication and teamwork across all shifts.
  • Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure staff scheduling and task assignments are executed efficiently to meet operational needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock control to reduce wastage and maintain availability.
  • Support in maintaining cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and legal regulations.
  • Assist in analyzing sales trends and operational data to support planning and reporting.
  • Train, coach, and onboard new team members to ensure service standards are met.
  • Lead by example on the floor, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive atmosphere.
  • Step in for the Restaurant Manager during their absence, ensuring continuity in leadership and performance.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the food and beverage or hospitality industry, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic understanding of financial controls and inventory management.
  • Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
