Position Overview

The Sales Associate will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service through our e-commerce platforms and digital channels. This role requires a strong understanding of both construction materials and solar power systems, as well as a passion for connecting with customers online. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a knack for closing sales in a virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Online Sales Management: Actively engage with and respond to customer inquiries via email, live chat, and social media to drive sales of construction materials and solar power systems.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with new and existing customers by providing expert advice, product recommendations, and technical support.
  • Product Expertise: Maintain a deep and current knowledge of our full product catalogue, including specifications, applications, and competitive advantages for both construction materials and solar power solutions.
  • Quotation and Order Processing: Prepare and send professional quotations, process online orders accurately, and coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and new product developments in the construction and renewable energy sectors.
  • Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, customer feedback, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Content Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to provide insights for product descriptions, promotional content, and online campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience in a sales role, with a strong preference for experience in online sales, e-commerce, or a related field.
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of construction materials (e.g., ceramic tiles, sanitary wares, tile adhesives) and/or solar power generation systems (e.g., panels, inverters, batteries).
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with social media marketing.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and persuasive tone.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Self-Motivated: A high degree of self-discipline and the ability to work effectively in a remote or unsupervised setting.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
