About the role

We are seeking a talented Office Engineer to join our team at BASIC ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEMS & TECHNOLOGIES, INC.' in Payatas, Quezon City Metro Manila. As an Office Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our civil and structural engineering projects, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality work. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to be part of an innovative and collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing technical support to project teams by reviewing drawings, specifications, and other engineering documents
  • Assisting in the preparation of design calculations, reports, and other technical deliverables
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to gather and validate project information
  • Monitoring project progress and identifying potential issues or risks
  • Supporting the implementation of quality control and assurance measures
  • Contributing to the development of engineering standards and best practices
  • Collaborating with the broader engineering team to share knowledge and expertise

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
  • Proficient in the use of engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Sketch UP
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to think strategically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations
  • Proactive and detail-oriented approach to work
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
