About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Support professional to join our team at SOUTHERN ARMS CORPORATION' in Cagayan de Oro Misamis Oriental. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintaining the company's IT systems and infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

• Responding to and resolving IT-related issues and queries from employees in a timely and efficient manner
• Troubleshooting hardware and software problems and implementing solutions
• Performing regular maintenance and updates on computers, servers, and other IT equipment
• Ensuring the security and integrity of the company's IT systems, including implementing and monitoring security measures
• Providing training and guidance to employees on the use of IT systems and applications
• Documenting IT processes and procedures to maintain a knowledge base
• Collaborating with the IT team to identify and implement improvements to the company's IT infrastructure

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT support role
• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve a wide range of IT issues
• Proficient in the use of common hardware, software, and networking technologies
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Strong time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple requests and priorities
• Adaptable and able to learn new technologies quickly
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in IT support, such as CompTIA A+ or ITIL, are highly desirable
