Our client is an Australian graphic design platform that is used to create social media graphics and presentations. The app includes readymade templates for users to use. Their platform is a go-to place for all design needs on the web.

What you will do:

  • Designing, producing, and managing specific sets of digital assets and thumbnails across the site.
  • Preparing briefs for each project and presenting design ideas.
  • Collaborating with the digital design team to ensure that all designs align with the brand image, while also meeting usability and website standards
  • Ensuring consistency in designs and content across all platforms.
  • Visualizes various unique design combinations from a set of pre-selected components

Who you are:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Figma and Adobe Photoshop
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Has an eye for current aesthetic trends, and a strong stylistic approach.
  • Understands user thinking and interaction to improve usability
  • Efficiently delivers quality output, maintains cadences, if not streamlining processes
  • Effectively communicates and articulates ideas and challenges/blockers
  • Proactively engages in team initiatives and can work with very minimal supervision
  • Happy to take on board feedback and direction
  • WIlling to work on a hybrid set up
  • Has a portfolio that demonstrates experience designing, shipping and iterating digital experiences including websites, landing pages.
  • An understanding of digital/web design principles and application of visual design. Exhibits passion and empathy when creating user-centered experiences, and responsive websites
  • Strong graphic, and visual design skills leveraging typography, layout, compositions, motion to visually communicate.
  • You have experience of developing responsive designs utilizing the most current software and technology.
  • Ability to produce creative, on-brand visual designs, with great attention to detail, and craftsmanship.
  • You are comfortable working in a high pace and iterative environment inside a cross-functional team.
  • Highly collaborative, you are able to bring people with you on the design journey, proposing creative solutions informed by data and research while addressing business goals and strategies.
  • Receptive to team collaboration, creative direction and feedback.
  • You are a problem solver that's excited by a challenge.
  • Comfortable with chaos. You can find solutions even without perfect precedents or direction, and map out a path to clarity and execution. You can work out ways to achieve the impossible.
  • You enjoy a little flexibility in your work. Our growth means there are constantly new things to work on every day, as such it's likely that you'll often be working across the board on new and exciting projects.
