About the role

Megawide Construction Corporation is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our talented team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing electrical systems for our diverse range of construction projects.

What you'll be doing

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications
  2. Prepare detailed electrical designs, drawings, and schematics using industry-leading software
  3. Ensure designs comply with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
  4. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to coordinate the implementation of electrical systems
  5. Provide technical support and problem-solving during the construction phase
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in electrical engineering and technologies
  7. Mentor and train junior engineers to develop their skills and expertise

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical system design, preferably in the construction industry
  3. Proficient in using electrical design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and similar tools
  4. Strong understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and best practices
  5. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  6. Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams
  7. Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field
