As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will take on a key responsibility in supporting our Supply Chain Operations in the generation of purchase orders for various HelloFresh markets across Europe, the UK, Australia and New Zealand. You will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of our ordering processes using a combination of in-house tools and google suite packages. Working closely with the Supply Chain, Procurement and Forecasting teams, you will raise, edit and send purchase orders to our suppliers, contributing to our ongoing efforts to drive business success and enhance customer satisfaction.

What you'll do
Support our inbound supply chain operations & external partnerships  to ensure our ingredients arrive to our customers on time and in fullCalculate and issue purchase orders for your category area(s). Revise or raise additional purchase orders as requiredComplete the necessary audit checks to ensure orders are complete and accurate before sending to suppliersResolve any queries raised by suppliers on the purchase orders or transportation, escalate where necessaryResolve operational issues and perform root cause analysis. Put into place corrective actions to help prevent similar issues from reoccurringHelp to establish, create and maintain reports that support daily operationsDistribute forecast information to HelloFresh suppliersPartner closely with the Suppliers and internal teams such as Forecasting, Procurement, Warehouse and Inventory to ensure purchase orders are timely and fulfill customer requirementsCorrect or escalate any data inaccuracies to your Line ManagerReport any tooling issues and recommend improvementsMaintain the confidentiality of our data and uphold the integrity of our businessSupport on additional day to day tasks as needed, including but not limited to, data entry, emergency purchase orders, updates to delivery schedules and inventory data analysisRemain flexible to changing duties and responsibilities as business needs varyWhat you'll bring
At least 2 years of previous purchasing experience as a BuyerRequires expertise in operating Microsoft Office programs, and ideally ERP/MRP systemsLanguage: English, other European languages considered a plus (German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian)
