Location:
Hong Kong (or currently in Manila with willingness to relocate to Hong Kong)

Job Summary:

The Private Banking Head will lead the bank's private banking business for the Hong Kong market, driving growth and strengthening client relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), family offices, and business leaders. The role requires a strong network in Hong Kong and deep expertise in wealth management, investment advisory, and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development and client acquisition initiatives in the Hong Kong private banking market.
  • Manage and expand relationships with HNWIs, ultra-HNWIs, family offices, and key stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic direction for wealth management solutions, investment advisory, and estate planning.
  • Oversee a team of relationship managers and ensure delivery of high-quality client service.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in Hong Kong and BDO Unibank standards.
  • Represent the bank in high-level business, client, and industry engagements.

Qualifications:

  • Strong professional network and client connections in the Hong Kong financial and private banking market.
  • Proven track record in private banking, wealth management, or investment advisory
  • Previous work experience in Hong Kong private banking/financial institutions; currently based in Hong Kong (or Manila with willingness to relocate to Hong Kong)
  • Strong leadership, people management, and business development skills.
  • Deep understanding of investment products, global markets, and wealth solutions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with cross-cultural adaptability.
