GENERAL JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Operations Analyst plays a key role in optimizing operational efficiency and effectiveness within the organization. Responsible for analyzing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance productivity and streamline workflows.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gathering relevant data from various sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, and other systems, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Preparing the data for analysis by identifying and handling missing or inconsistent data, removing duplicates, and converting data into a usable format.
  • Conducting initial data exploration to identify patterns, trends, and outliers, which can provide valuable insights for further investigation.
  • Investigating the underlying causes of operational issues by analyzing data to identify contributing factors.
  • Creating visual representations of data, such as charts, graphs, and dashboards, to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
  • Utilizing statistical methods to validate findings and draw reliable conclusions from the data.
  • Create and present reports based on their analyses, providing insights and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
  • Help decision-makers make informed choices to improve operations.
  • Monitoring SLAs and assessing the organization's ability to meet performance commitments to clients or internal stakeholders.
  • Responding to specific information requests from management or stakeholders by creating one-time or custom reports as needed.
  • Ensuring that reports are disseminated to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner, providing them with the insights to make informed decisions.
  • Verifying the accuracy and reliability of data used in reports, performing data validation checks to prevent errors.
  • Documenting the methodologies, assumptions, and sources used in creating reports to maintain transparency and facilitate future analysis.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering/Statistics or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in data analysis or operations management
