Job Title:

Assistant Accounting Manager

Reports To:

Accounting Manager / Finance Manager

Interface with:

Operations/ Treasury/ Purchasing / HR Departments

Job Purpose

  • To assists the accounting manager in monitoring and supervising the activities of accounting personnel related to Accounts payable trade and general accounting.
  • Assists in preparation and analysis of the financial reports and accounting books.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Validates documents prepared by Accounts Payable Assistant and Accounting Supervisor on trade related transactions.
  • Approves AP Invoices and AP Credit Memos in SAP purchasing module.
  • Prepares quarterly schedules of accounts.
  • Prepares schedules needed by external auditor for year-end audit and FS filing to BIR.
  • Performs task assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

  • BS Accountancy Graduate and a CPA
  • Basic knowledge in Tax Accounting
  • Basic knowledge in Excel, Word
  • Basic knowledge in Computerized Accounting System
  • Preferably with 2 years experience in accounting supervisory works.

  • Computer Literate (can operate basic MS Programs)
