Job Title: Fuel Truck Driver (Gasoline Station)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a responsible and safety-conscious Fuel Truck Driver to transport and deliver fuel products (gasoline, diesel, etc.) to our gas stations and/or customer sites. The ideal candidate will have experience operating fuel tankers, a strong commitment to safety regulations, and the appropriate commercial driver's license (CDL).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport fuel products from terminals or refineries to gasoline stations or customer locations.
  • Load and unload fuel safely using appropriate procedures and equipment.
  • Inspect and maintain the truck and trailer, ensuring it meets safety and operational standards.
  • Follow route schedules and deliver fuel in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and document fuel levels, delivery quantities, and delivery times.
  • Complete daily logs, delivery paperwork, and inspection reports accurately.
  • Adhere strictly to local, state, and federal transportation and environmental regulations.
  • Report any issues, delays, or accidents promptly to the dispatch or supervisor.
  • Ensure proper handling and transfer of hazardous materials following HAZMAT guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), usually Class A or B with HAZMAT and tanker endorsements.
  • Proven experience as a fuel or tanker truck driver is preferred.
  • Good driving record with no recent violations.
  • Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission trucks.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting hoses and equipment.
  • Knowledge of fuel handling and spill response procedures is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
