IT Support Engineer (L2 Onsite Support)

Location: Balintawak, Quezon City

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced L2 Onsite Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical assistance in setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT and POS systems across our operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of ensuring seamless day-to-day technology operations.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Equipment Setup

  • POS Systems: Install and configure Point-of-Sale systems and ensure full functionality.
  • Computers: Set up desktops and laptops with necessary software, user profiles, and network configurations.
  • Printers: Install and configure receipt and label printers.
  • Scanners: Set up barcode and RFID scanners for store operations.

Application Knowledge and Support

  • Microsoft 365: Install, configure, and support applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Windows OS (10 and above): Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows environments.
  • Sophos Antivirus: Deploy and manage endpoint security using Sophos tools.

IT Support, Troubleshooting, and Maintenance

  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to POS systems, computers, printers, and other IT peripherals.
  • Perform hardware repairs or facilitate replacements for faulty components.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and system health checks.
  • Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims and support services.
  • Document all deployments, configurations, and issue resolutions accurately.

Qualifications

  • Primary Technical Skill: L2 Onsite Support
  • Minimum Qualification: Technical Support Engineer or equivalent role
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Strong understanding of Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and endpoint security tools.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and provide timely technical support in a fast-paced environment.
