We Are Hiring: Kindergarten Teacher

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Kindergarten Teacher to join our preschool in Taguig. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Early Childhood Education and is committed to nurturing the emotional, social, and academic growth of young children. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children in a structured, creative, and compassionate learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum and Instruction:

  • Design and implement a complete, age-appropriate teaching plan in line with the school's educational framework.

  • Teach basic skills such as the alphabet, numeracy, shapes, colors, and hygiene habits.

  • Develop children's social and emotional skills through structured lessons and play.

  • Learning Tools and Environment:

  • Organize learning materials and educational resources to create an engaging classroom atmosphere.

  • Use diverse teaching methods including songs, stories, multimedia, art, games, and outdoor activities to stimulate learning and creativity.

  • Student Development:

  • Monitor children's interactions and encourage cooperation, respect, and sharing among peers.

  • Conduct regular assessments of students' academic performance and developmental progress.

  • Provide individual support to students as needed to help them reach their full potential.

  • Communication and Reporting:

  • Maintain open and respectful communication with parents regarding student behavior, development, and progress.

  • Cooperate with administrative staff and participate in school events and meetings.

  • Ensure compliance with teaching standards, classroom safety, and health regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

  • Graduates with a teaching license are highly encouraged to apply

  • Certifications (Preferred but not required):

  • AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) and/or AMS (American Montessori Society) certification

  • Experience:

  • Prior experience teaching kindergarten or preschool is preferred

  • Familiarity with Montessori or similar early childhood education approaches is an advantage

  • Skills:

  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills

  • Creative, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
