The Role

The Digital System Administrator is responsible for the configuration, operation, management and continuous improvement of the Digital Systems services and environment. This is a vital role to ensure delivery of Digital Systems capability to The Company and its joint venture partners.

The Digital Systems Administrator will be responsible for set-up and management of these solutions for the business.

The role will assist in driving Digital Systems methodologies while standardizing application requirements across the The Company. This is a vital role in the application-related aspects of governing, operating, and maintaining ICT services, as well as in continuously improving service quality performance and business experience.

Your Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a personal commitment to the Company's Cultural Framework, policies, Safety Essentials and Management System requirements and expectations
• Develop and maintain an awareness of hazards and associated risks and demonstrate a commitment to eliminate or minimize those risks
• Understand and effectively undertake accountabilities.
• Accountability for management of digital engineering software, data stores and licensing components
• Performing digital software related activities such as configuring and troubleshooting the software; and staying current with upgrades, updates and patches.
• Be able to define and convey customization requirements to meet specific project requirements
• Troubleshoot and solve user problems for hosted systems
• Ensure and proactively monitor that applications services are up to date, available and responsive for users according to business requirements and Service Level Agreements
• Ensure and govern that policies related to application accesses, roles, and identities are executed as per defined by Information Security Management
• Ensure that application services can deliver the agreed capacity and performance targets in a cost-effective and timely manner
• Contribute to sharing of knowledge and information within own function and with internal clients
• Evaluate and monitor supplier day to day service performance to ensure suppliers comply with contractual terms and conditions
• Maintain strong, productive relationships with internal clients and other key stakeholders
• Build and manage effective operational relationships with external service providers
• Understand key stakeholder needs and manage expectations to ensure the delivery of effective outcomes
• Provide professional and timely advice to internal clients
• Meet operational performance targets
• Meet regulatory obligations
• Meet stakeholder requirements
• Report and communicate to key management such that effective decisions can be made
  Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant Company policies and processes.

What We're Looking For:

• At least 5 years' relevant experience as a Systems Administrator or a similar role
• Demonstrable experience with the management, administration, and supporting delivery of Digital Systems.
• Digital Engineering experience will be highly regarded
• Ideally should have experience with the management, administration and delivery of digital engineering products such as Bentley ProjectWise and Autodesk Engineering Systems.
• Good management skills and ability to perform a wide range of duties
• Aptitude to adapt to different project environments and open to learning new skills
• Understanding of contemporary IT technologies and concepts such as ICT Networks, End User Computing, Virtualized Environments and Cloud Computing
• Verbal and written communication skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple levels, with the Digital Engineering community, vendors and other key stakeholders
• Strong skills in software system troubleshooting and issue resolution
