Job Summary:

The Business Analyst (BA) serves as a vital link between business goals and IT capabilities within an organization. This role involves analyzing and documenting business processes, services, and software solutions to help improve overall efficiency and decision-making. Reporting to the Program or Project Manager, the BA interprets data and reports to identify gaps, recommend improvements, and define business requirements aligned with organizational goals.

A successful BA combines strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a solid understanding of business operations and IT systems, including databases, networks, and software tools. Key responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, planning, variance and cost-benefit analysis, and reporting. The BA is also expected to facilitate effective communication among stakeholders, both internal and external, while maintaining a high standard of data privacy and security. Interpersonal and consultative skills are essential, as the BA collaborates closely with both technical teams and business users to drive meaningful and sustainable solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· To chart out and determine the strategies vital for examining the different business features of the chosen strategy that will play a major role in the determination of the viability of the final results;

· To assess the current business model, identifying its inadequacies and areas that may require improvements;

· To develop a plan required for the implementation within the system to validate the effects of the enhancements needed;

· To conduct technical analysis to ensure the feasibility of the proposed changes as this phase is critical and requires comprehensive study and examination;

· To facilitate discussions, clarify uncertainties and manage the change requests in order to maintain the alignment between business needs and technical implementation and ensure that all matters discussed and agreed upon are fully documented;

· To communicate and convey the complex concepts to the business stakeholders in a straightforward manner;

· To identify areas for process improvements and propose innovative solutions;

· To prepare and document test scripts, plans and results and simulate the testing cycles of the business users through quality assurance testing prior to submission for User Integration Testing (UAT);

· To monitor all tasks and operations to ensure that no additional modifications or "scope creep" are

necessary based on the approved functional specification documents;

· To allocate a technical support to address the issues logged by the client and to ensure that these items are attended by closely monitoring the corresponding resolution until the resolution is received and confirmed by the client;

· To conduct post-implementation review and evaluate the success of implemented solutions and obtain feedbacks for future enhancements; and,

· To perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or Mathematics

· Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or Economics

· Minimum experience of two (2) years (optional)

· Good command of both oral and written English to be able to articulate efficiently the requirements of the client/s and  convey the same  to the     foreign  partner/s    or the technical team.
