JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the achievement of the required sales for Gift Certificate (GC). Ensures also that all cashiers are properly trained and knowledgeable of all standard work procedures required in the performance of their functions and ensures the proper scheduling of cashiers; no unnecessary closing of terminals during peak hours. Submits also accurate reports and daily updates on time.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. CASHIERING OPERATIONS

· Meets required sales for Gift Certificate (GC).

· Ensures that all cashiers are properly trained and knowledgeable of all standard work procedures required in the performance of their functions.

· Handles effectively and efficiently all customer-related issues.

· Ensures that all cashiers, baggers, and information clerks render excellent and effective customer service.

· Takes charge of customer service counter and store facilities including package counters.

· Ensures that all cashiers handle all transactions swiftly to avoid long lines and while ensuring accuracy of transaction and process entries.

· Ensures proper scheduling of cashiers; no unnecessary closing of terminals during peak hours.

· Submits accurate reports and daily updates on time.

· Deals with POS machine trouble, breakdown, and unavailability of backlines.

· Monitors and prepares reports on cashier shortages.

· Ensures the proper training of cashiers before deployed in the stores.

· Ensures the availability and adequate supply of packaging materials and related items.

  1. CASHIERING ADMINISTRATION

· Accounts for all the cash collections and remittances of the day including shortages.

· Implements security control measures at all times; vaults are secured and secrecy in the access to lock combination is observed at all times.

· Ensures adequate change fund and coins at all times.

· Ensures complete accounting of Official Receipts issued and on hand.

· Monitors corporate account change sales transactions for proper billing and collection.

· Prepares and submits daily deposit reports and petty cash replenishment.

· Monitors on time liquidation of the store's revolving fund (PCF).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Graduate of any Four-Year Course preferably Accountancy or any related Course.

· Preferably with Experience in a service-oriented company
