Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet all customers with a warm and welcoming attitude.
  • Accurately process cash, credit, and other forms of payment.
  • Maintain proper cash handling procedures and balance the register at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Assist customers with orders, purchases, or general inquiries.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain cleanliness and organization of the front area and checkout stations.
  • Uphold company policies and maintain confidentiality of customer information.
  • Handle returns, exchanges, or discrepancies professionally and efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory at the cashier station and request supplies when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and company regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong basic math and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate a point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor.
