Production Planning & ISO Coordinator (Junior Engineer)

Job Overview

We are hiring a Junior Engineer who owns production planning, monitoring, and ISO-aligned processes in a metal fabrication environment.

This role includes direct responsibility for maintaining and updating the company's ISO manuals and controlled procedures, ensuring alignment with actual shop-floor practices.

This is not a clerical role. Accuracy, discipline, and follow-through are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Monitoring

  • Prepare and maintain daily and weekly production schedules
  • Track job progress across cutting, bending, welding, and assembly
  • Identify bottlenecks, delays, and capacity conflicts early
  • Follow up directly with production teams to keep jobs on track

ISO, Documentation & Company Manual Control

  • Own the updating, revision, and control of the Company Manual and ISO procedures
  • Ensure manuals reflect actual production processes, not outdated theory
  • Maintain revision history, approval records, and controlled distribution
  • Coordinate updates based on process changes, audit findings, and corrective actions
  • Support internal and external ISO audits

Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare daily and weekly production status reports
  • Communicate risks, delays, and deviations clearly to management
  • Coordinate between production, design/CAD, purchasing, and management

Inventory & Resource Tracking

  • Monitor raw material and consumable usage vs plan
  • Flag shortages and abnormal consumption early
  • Track machine availability and maintenance impact on schedules

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field

Experience

  • 0–2 years in manufacturing, production planning, or quality systems
  • Exposure to metal fabrication and ISO 9001 is an advantage
  • 3D CAD Skill is an Advantage

Required Skills

  • Strong Excel and documentation control skills
  • Able to manage controlled documents and revisions with discipline
  • Comfortable enforcing process compliance on the shop floor
  • Can follow through without constant supervision

How Performance Is Measured

  • Production schedules are followed and visible
  • Company manuals are current, accurate, and audit-ready
  • ISO findings are reduced, not repeated
  • Management has real-time visibility of shop status

Pay: From Php600.00 per day
