warehouse and logistic officer, management trainee

Duties and Responsibilities:

Warehouse Management:

• Oversee daily operations in warehouse and logistics activities including receiving, storing, picking, put-away, and distribution of products.
• Application of best practices to support cost- efficiency in the WH Operation (i.e., GWP, Kaizen, etc.)
• Logistics Management: Plan, execute and monitor transportation, freight forwarding and measure the effectiveness of logistics. Efficiently establish route-plan.
• Plan and coordinate delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and transportation companies. Lead 3PL negotiations for favorable terms in Aljay.
• Responsible to monitor & conduct critical analysis to reduce cost in fuel consumption.

Inventory Control:

• Optimize inventory management systems, track stock levels and minimize waste.
• Oversee the proper handling, storage, and transportation to avoid inventory wastages,

damages, and losses to the company.

• Fleet Management / Motorpool:
• Make sure all trucks are operational for loading.
• Implement best practices in Motorpool operation (i.e., 5's Method, Spare Parts Inventory control & monitoring.
• Ensure allocated repairs and maintenance budget are not exceeding.
• Look for a way to improve the cost-efficiency in Motorpool Operation, Supply Chain Optimization:
• Analyze and improve logistics/warehouse/motorpool processes, reducing costs and enhancing efficiency.
• Streamline the processes in logistics/warehouse/motorpool to create Work
• Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintain and exceeds the targeted per
• Departments KPI's for the transformation and Agile Supply Chain Management.
• Manage seamless Operation as a problem solver in 5M's of Operation for

Warehouse/Logsitics/Motorpool. Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., health, safety, environment, quality, &customs).

Job Description:

• Supervise logistic/warehouse/motorpool staff, provide training and development opportunities for effectiveness in the processes of execution.
• Manage warehouse/logistics/motorpool expenses, optimize resource allocation.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring business continuity.
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Work closely with inter-departments procurement, production, inventory & supply, motorpool, marketing/sales teams (SMU), HR, and Finance department.
• ERP Integration & Innovation: Utilize data andtechnology to streamline warehouse and logistics processes. Implement future projects regarding ERP integration for Warehouse/Logistics/Motorpool like WMS,
• Freight/Transport Plan provided by ERP driven platform or equivalent.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineer or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, logistics management, cost-benefit analysis, or a related function.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in warehouse, inventory, logistics management in ERP system and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain management principles, best practices, and 5 M's in operation (manpower, material, machine, method, measurement).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php30, Php40,000.00 per month
