About the Role

Aljay Agro-Industrial Solutions Inc. is looking for a meticulous and experienced Audit Officer to join our team. This full-time position is based in Isabela, Cagayan Valley, where you will be instrumental in maintaining compliance and efficiency across our agricultural retail and distribution operations. Your focus will include auditing sales, accounts receivables, inventory management, and retail processes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Conducting detailed audits of sales, accounts receivables, and retail operations to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
• Assessing inventory management systems, verifying stock levels, and identifying discrepancies in agricultural products.
• Performing minimal audits of company assets, equipment, and cash transactions as required.
• Generating comprehensive audit reports with insights and actionable recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and risk management.
• Collaborating with retail managers and distribution teams to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
• Monitoring compliance with financial regulations and company policies, specifically within the context of agricultural retail and distribution.
• Staying updated with industry regulations and practices, ensuring company adherence to the latest standards.
• Supporting the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reports as needed.

What We're Looking For

• CPA and/or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in internal auditing or compliance roles. With experience in the the agricultural retail and distribution sector is an advantage
• Comprehensive understanding of audit principles, inventory management, and risk management frameworks, particularly in agricultural operations.
• Familiarity with agricultural products such as fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and accounting software to manage large-scale inventory and financial audits effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to present findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or related certification is highly preferred.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and within teams in a fast-paced environment.
• With SAP experience.
