AI Cloud Engineer

Job Description AI Cloud Engineer experienced in cloud platforms, primarily Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS), with a solid foundation in Terraform and infrastructure automation.

You will play an essential role in deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud environments tailored for AI-driven solutions. In this position, you'll collaborate closely with backend engineers, data scientists, DevOps specialists, and stakeholders to create reliable, scalable, and efficient AI infrastructure. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Cloud Infrastructure & Automation Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure for AI workloads on the Cloud and

On-Prem Infrastructure. Leverage Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Helm) to ensure efficient, repeatable, and reliable deployments. Continuously optimize cloud resource usage and costs while ensuring infrastructure scalability and reliability.

AI Integration & Model Deployment Work closely with AI teams to build and manage cloud-based environments for AI model training, validation, and deployment. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines tailored for AI applications, ensuring smooth and automated deployment of models and services.

Ensure high availability and scalability for AI inference endpoints. Performance Monitoring & Optimization Implement robust monitoring and alerting solutions (CloudWatch, Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana) for AI workloads and cloud infrastructure. Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimizing resources to reduce latency and improve system efficiency.

Regularly review performance metrics and recommend improvements for operational excellence. Security & Compliance Implement and manage cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, vulnerability scanning, and network security. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) specific to AI and data management.

Collaborate with security teams to conduct regular assessments and integrate security controls into deployment pipelines. Collaboration & Communication Partner with cross-functional teams including backend engineers, data scientists, and DevOps teams to ensure cohesive AI platform management. Communicate effectively across teams to translate complex infrastructure requirements into actionable plans and solutions.

Actively participate in agile methodologies, contributing to sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives. KPIs: R&D Output and Innovation: The contribution to AI innovation by the number of prototypes developed, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) completed. Successful Deployment of AI Solutions: The number of AI-powered solutions, particularly Generative AI and productivity-enhancing applications, successfully deployed in production environments.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Participation in cross-functional teams and contribution to knowledge sharing initiatives, such as internal AI toolkits, training sessions, or the AI democratization program. Impact on Customer Experience: The performance and customer satisfaction improvements driven by AI applications. Productivity Improvements: The percentage increase in organizational productivity or efficiency resulting from AI-driven automations and process optimizations.

TOP 3-5 DELIVERABLES: Development and Deployment of a Generative AI-based Solutions AI-powered Productivity Tools for Internal Operations Customer Experience Enhancement via AI AI-based Telecom Network Optimization Solutions AI Innovation and Research Contributions REQUIREMENTS: Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, with a focus on developing models and solutions for productivity, customer experience, and/or telecom networks. SKILLS: Soft: Problem-solving and Analytical Thinking: Ability to tackle complex problems and create innovative solutions using AI techniques.

Collaboration and Teamwork: Experience working in cross-functional teams, collaborating with stakeholders from different areas (e.g., product, engineering, and operations). Communication Skills: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and create clear documentation of AI models and solutions. Adaptability and Continuous Learning: Willingness to keep up with the latest AI research and quickly adapt to new tools, models, and methodologies.

Hard: AI/ML Expertise: Proficiency in machine learning algorithms, neural networks, natural language processing, and computer vision. Experience with GenAI models is a plus. Programming Languages: Expertise in Python, R, and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.

Data Engineering and Analytics: Experience with data processing, feature engineering, and working with large datasets in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP). AI System Integration: Familiarity with integrating AI models into production systems, including API development and system architecture. Telecom Network Knowledge: Understanding of telecom network technologies and how AI can be applied to optimize networks, particularly for predictive maintenance and traffic management.
