Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts for a diagnostics client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostics or medical sales, proven leadership skills, and a track record of driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and Planning:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the diagnostics sector.
    • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
    • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to guide strategic planning and decision-making.
  2. Team Leadership:

    • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
    • Provide training and support to sales representatives, including product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement strategies.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and manage team performance to ensure high productivity and morale.
  3. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, healthcare professionals, and industry stakeholders.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships within the diagnostics industry.
    • Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  4. Sales Execution:

    • Oversee the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring effective management of sales pipelines and opportunities.
    • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales initiatives with company goals and market needs.
    • Monitor and analyze sales metrics, adjusting strategies and tactics as needed to optimize performance.
  5. Market and Product Knowledge:

    • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in diagnostic technologies.
    • Provide feedback to product development and marketing teams to enhance product offerings and promotional activities.
  6. Reporting and Analysis:

    • Prepare and present regular sales reports and performance metrics to senior management.
    • Analyze sales data to assess effectiveness of sales strategies and identify areas for improvement.

What our Client is Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales management, with a focus on diagnostics or medical products.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
