The HR - Employee Relations Officer is responsible for promoting employee welfare and fostering a positive workplace environment. This role involves addressing human relations concerns, resolving employee issues, and supporting overall employee well-being, morale, and productivity. The position also ensures compliance with company policies and government regulations by providing guidance and facilitating fair and consistent employee relations practices.
Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations
- Drafts and posts HR-related internal communications (e.g., memoranda) for all employees.
- Manages employee complaints and provides appropriate resolutions in accordance with company standards.
- Acts upon incident reports within 24 hours of receipt.
- Conducts workplace investigations and determines appropriate disciplinary action based on the company's Code of Ethics.
- Prepares and coordinates necessary documentation for disciplinary sanctions and ensures proper coordination with the Payroll Associate for implementation.
- Issues return-to-work orders for probable AWOL employees within 24 hours of receiving the report from the Business Unit Admin.
Performance Assessment
- Monitors and facilitates employee performance evaluations.
- Manages the termination process in compliance with company policy and labor laws.
DOLE Coordination
- Serves as the company's point of contact with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) for labor-related concerns and compliance matters.
