Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for ensuring full compliance with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) requirements and maintaining accurate company accounts. The position requires a thorough understanding of tax regulations, accounting principles, and a strong ability to manage and reconcile financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • BIR Compliance:

  • Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with BIR regulations

  • Ensure timely submission of tax documents and payments to avoid penalties and fines
  • Assist in BIR audits, review tax assessments, and provide necessary documentation
  • Monitor updates on tax regulations and assist in implementing necessary changes in accounting practices

  • Company Accounts Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, and accounts receivable

  • Reconcile accounts and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring all financial data is accurate and compliant with regulations
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting, ideally with BIR compliance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations (BIR requirements).
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
